We are seeking a knowledgeable Senior Application Support Analyst to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our critical business applications. In this role, you'll provide exceptional technical and functional support, resolve intricate issues, and conduct root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences. You will collaborate with business users, developers, and vendors to maintain seamless system operations, drive process improvements, and optimize workflows. With strong analytical skills and system expertise, you will lead initiatives to enhance application monitoring, automation, and overall efficiency while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $150,000.00. Your Responsibilities: Provide advanced technical and functional support for our enterprise applications, ensuring exceptional availability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, service requests, and system issues promptly. Conduct root cause analyses and implement lasting solutions to prevent recurring issues. Work closely with business users, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to resolve application-related challenges and implement enhancements. Monitor application performance, perform routine health checks, and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs). Document support procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines for knowledge sharing and consistency. Take part in application upgrades, patches, testing, and deployment initiatives. Identify and pursue opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency. Support change management, incident management, and release management in accordance with ITIL best practices. Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of enterprise application architecture, integrations, databases, and APIs. Analytical Skills: Exhibit a strong ability to analyze complex issues, pinpoint root causes, and develop effective resolutions. Problem-Solving: Demonstrate capability in troubleshooting application and system performance issues, especially under pressure. Business Acumen: Understand how business processes and workflows are supported by applications to achieve organizational goals. Communication: Show excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Collaboration: Exhibit strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with business users, developers, and vendors. Process Management: Have familiarity with ITIL practices, including incident, problem, and change management. Project Coordination: Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to system enhancement projects. Documentation: Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational runbooks. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or related IT roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior or lead capacity. Technical Experience: Hands-on experience with enterprise applications, system integrations, SQL or database querying, and incident management tools. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and automation or monitoring tools. Licenses/Certifications (Preferred): ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform or Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Oracle Certified Professional, or similar relevant certifications.
