IAM Architect

Akkodis is seeking a IAM Architect for a Contract with a client in San Francisco CA/Cincinnati OH. Candidate must have strong expertise in architecting modern Identity and Access Management solutions with a focus on Conditional Access using Microsoft Entra ID. Rate Range: $73/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. IAM Architect job responsibilities include: Lead the architecture and governance of a modern Conditional Access framework leveraging Microsoft Entra ID. Develop the targetstate IAM design, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements such as SOX and GDPR. Oversee technical execution across teams, guiding implementation of IAM, MFA, and PAM solutions. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure IAM policies align with operational needs. Evaluate risks, define controls, and strengthen identitybased security across manufacturing and enterprise environments. Provide architectural leadership by establishing standards, best practices, and roadmap direction for IAM capabilities. Required Qualifications: Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, information technology, or a related technical field aligned with IAM architecture. must have 10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management roles. Candidate must demonstrate strong expertise in designing Conditional Access architectures using Microsoft Entra ID, along with handson experience in MFA and PAM solution design. Candidate must possess deep understanding of regulatory frameworks such as SOX and GDPR and be able to align IAM strategy with operational and compliance requirements.
