Location: Central, FL Schedule: Part-Time (3 Days a week) Salary: $45.00 - $50.00 per patient Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Optometrist to join our compassionate team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive eye care to patients residing in long-term care facilities. This position offers an incredible opportunity to positively impact the lives of seniors while collaborating with a committed team of healthcare professionals. You will work alongside nurses, primary physicians, health aides, families, and ophthalmologists, fostering a supportive and cooperative environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive routine and medical eye exams Perform dilated eye examinations Assess and manage diabetic eye conditions Treat infections and ocular injuries Diagnose and treat ocular diseases effectively Engage compassionately with the geriatric population Qualifications OD license required Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk for 6-8 hours a day Benefits Generous Paid Time Off Comprehensive Malpractice Insurance Why Join Us?
