Maintenance Technician for Plant Operations

Location: Fort Worth RMX TX Job Req ID: 14721 Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician for plant operations! ABOUT THE ROLE Amrize is seeking a dedicated Ready Mix Plant Maintenance Technician to work full-time at our DFW Ready Mix Plants. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, relocations, and installations of plant machinery and equipment while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Schedule and execute preventative maintenance on essential plant equipment, including crushers, conveyor belts, pumps, and screens, in line with manufacturer recommendations. Inspect the condition and functioning of plant equipment, performing repairs and adjustments as necessary. Assist in moving and installing plants based on engineering specifications and guide less experienced mechanics. Disassemble and repair production equipment by replacing worn or broken components. Support maintenance efforts on plant buildings and related tasks as required. Commit to communicating and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies while promoting a safety-focused culture. Complete additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS WE SEEK High school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years of specialized training through technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturer training program. 3-4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction within a plant or industrial setting. Knowledgeable in basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, along with experience using shop equipment such as welding and machining tools. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and use Amrize-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators.
