Pay: $2,058 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position AGENCY MUST SUPPLY RADIATION BADGE OR X-Ray Tech Main Hospital Daily Caseload per tech: Varies Shift: Will work 4x10s, 12p-1030p, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday with holidays as needed - NO weekendsThe first week of contract, the traveler will work during the week on day shift for orientation. Then, set schedule will begin the following weekIs on-call REQ? Call rotation for weekly call, 3-4 days/month. Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required Floating Req to Sister Facilities: yes Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year First-timers accepted: Yes Certs/Lic Required: ARRT, AHA BLS Certification/Licenses accepted: ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R) Experience Required: Must have recent OR experience, C-arm experience, O-arm experience Trauma experience preferred but not required Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Misc. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate Pending State License accepted: SC license must be in hand prior to start RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma: Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 865 Scrub Color: Teal Top/Black Bottoms Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Nights and weekends cost only. One time payment of $20 for a parking pass.Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
