Key ResponsibilitiesPerform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Conduct various tests on materials and products using precision measuring equipment and laboratory instruments. Document inspection and test results, create quality reports, and maintain accurate quality records. Identify and document non-conforming materials or products, initiate corrective actions, and support root cause analysis. Perform calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment and gauges. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions. Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). Recommended QualificationsProficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications (GD&T preferred). Experience performing quality inspections and documenting results in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control principles (e.g., SPC). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Bonus QualificationsExperience with CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso). ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Yellow Belt certification preferred). Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Knowledge of specific industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949).
