Join Our Team as an Insurance Producer/Broker! Role Overview: As an Insurance Producer/Broker, you will engage with independent Property and Casualty Retail Agents. Representing our contract and brokerage carriers, your responsibilities will include soliciting, underwriting, marketing, and securing coverage for various business enterprises within the excess and surplus lines marketplace. Building strong relationships with partners is crucial for fostering a profitable book of business. Key Responsibilities: Develop a robust network of relationships with retail insurance agents through effective sales and marketing techniques. Collaborate with our in-house binding and brokerage markets. Utilize creative strategies for account assessment and negotiation. Manage accounts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring prompt responses to service issues in collaboration with support teams. Maintain a professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude at all times. Travel and attend company-approved conferences, seminars, and educational activities to stay updated on industry developments. Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you should possess the following: 3 years of experience as a wholesale broker/MGA or in a carrier setting, preferably with excess & surplus lines. A sales-driven attitude with strong relationship-building skills. Energy, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a team environment. Comprehensive knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures. P&C License is required; E&S License preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Reader, and other Windows-based applications. A determination to quickly learn new programs and applications.
