Position: Chief of Pediatric Allergy & Immunology Join the Department of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital as a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist. We are looking for a visionary leader to enhance and expand our division while providing exceptional clinical care to children suffering from allergic and immunologic conditions. The Chief will play a crucial role in delivering state-of-the-art medical services across our Medical Center's platforms within the Saint Louis region and beyond. You will also have the opportunity to innovate and lead in research and education programs, shaping the future of our distinguished Allergy and Immunology program at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and Saint Louis University. Our division specializes in treating a variety of conditions including: Asthma Allergic Conjunctivitis Urticaria/Angioedema Eosinophilic Esophagitis/Gastroenteritis Anaphylaxis Primary Immune Deficiencies The faculty in our division are recognized national experts, actively contributing to the development of patient care guidelines for allergies, asthma, and immune diseases. Our physicians are all board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and have served on the board of directors. As a teaching hospital, we offer robust training programs with opportunities to teach medical students and house staff. The division provides specialized electives for pediatric residents interested in advanced Allergy and Immunology areas and has an active fellowship training program, integrating pediatric and internal medicine and emphasizing evidence-based care. The Immunodeficiency Center at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is a referral site for the Jeffrey Modell Foundation and provides care for severe T-cell immunodeficiency and other Primary Immunodeficiency Disorders. We also evaluate Very Early Onset Inflammatory Bowel Disorder (VEO IBD). To qualify, candidates should be prepared to join at the Associate or Professor level, depending on experience and qualifications. An M.D. or equivalent degree, board certification, and eligibility for medical licensure in Missouri are required. Completion of an ACGME accredited 3-year fellowship program is essential, with a preference for candidates experienced in immunodeficiency care. Visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
