Job Description We are collaborating with a leading civil and environmental engineering firm that is seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to contribute to a variety of exciting environmental projects. Your expertise will be vital for conducting Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, performing environmental reviews (EAW/EIS), executing site inspections, and providing remedial project support. Key Responsibilities: Conduct analysis of environmental data and research findings. Prepare comprehensive reports and visual figures. Complete environmental assessments and worksheets, including permitting for sand and gravel mining. Ensure regulatory compliance across diverse industries. Engage with Federal, State, and Local regulatory agencies effectively. Carry out fieldwork and perform thorough site inspections. Requirements: Michigan PE certification is highly preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental compliance and/or reporting within public, private, government, or military sectors. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word and Excel); experience with CAD and GIS/GPS is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
