Job Description Join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as a visionary Senior Principal Datacenter Capacity Planner and spearhead innovation in extensive AI/ML datacenter capacity planning. In this influential role, you will be an integral part of a team working on significant cloud projects in the AI and GPU Infrastructure domain. Collaborate closely with executives, sales teams, finance, and datacenter/AI engineering teams to support multi-billion dollar deal scope. Your expertise will touch on hardware, networking, engineering, and datacenter design, as you evaluate and determine large-scale customer requirements for next-generation AI clusters, aiding in datacenter growth from hundreds of Megawatts to Gigawatts. Your contributions will play a crucial role in defining OCI's long-term objectives and shaping the future of cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities The ideal candidate is a well-organized expert in datacenter design, driven by metrics, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position will enhance the Data Center Capacity Planning team by developing scalable and repeatable processes. Key responsibilities include: Working closely with sales and executive leadership to comprehend the demand pipeline and translate customer needs into actionable datacenter and GPU requirements. Aligning hardware delivery and planning with future roadmap needs. Gaining an in-depth understanding of detailed datacenter site designs to convert customer needs into viable deployment solutions. Possessing a strong grasp of GPU infrastructure for air and liquid-cooled datacenters, as well as the complexities of network architecture within clustered GPU environments. Collaborating with sourcing teams to align customer demand with available datacenter capacity worldwide, whether in OCI's portfolio or on the open colo market. Defining top priorities for OCI leadership regarding datacenter budgets and procurements to ensure timely sourcing of necessary capacity. Identifying risks and mitigation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders; developing and monitoring program milestones and targets. Leveraging operational metrics to drive process enhancements and efficiencies with an emphasis on scalable practices. Proven success in optimizing operational processes while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
