THIS IS A NON-REMOTE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY AT OUR RESTAURANTS. Panda Restaurant Group is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic intern to join our talented team. This hands-on internship offers you the chance to learn from seasoned professionals and immerse yourself in the exciting world of restaurant operations. You will be involved in various critical areas such as operations, training, quality assurance, food safety, and culinary development. At Panda, growth starts on day one. Responsibilities: Assist with daily store operations, ensuring food is prepared with passion, service is provided with heart, and ambiance is maintained with pride. Lead a team of associates during your shifts, delegating tasks and providing constructive feedback to foster their growth. Support inventory management, ordering supplies, and uphold food safety and sanitation standards. Shadow restaurant managers and staff to gain insights into day-to-day operations and suggest process improvements. Complete assigned training modules successfully. Take on additional tasks to support the restaurant operations team. Program Requirements: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, or related fields; sophomores and juniors preferred. Availability to work the duration of the internship (approximately June-August 2025). Commitment to working 30-40 hours/week during the internship period (approximately June-August 2025). Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills to provide clear direction and guidance to team members. Proactive and resourceful, capable of thriving in a collaborative team environment. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a bonus. Leadership experience in student organizations is advantageous. Prior experience in restaurant settings and a Food Safety card would be beneficial. Benefits: Competitive paid internship.
