Job Description: Sr. Industrial Engineer Manager The Senior Industrial Engineer Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within manufacturing environment. Acting as a catalyst for change, this role leverages advanced organizational loss analysis and robust problem-solving methodologies to enhance key business performance indicators. By utilizing strategic insights and conducting thorough loss analyses, the Industrial Engineering Manager identifies and prioritizes local supply strategies. They champion value leadership initiatives-such as efficiency improvements, annual cost savings, and waste reduction-by implementing standards and best practices from frameworks like Mars Supply Excellence. Collaboration is central to this role. The manager works closely with cross-functional and network stakeholders to develop and negotiate site masterplans, including multiyear capital investment strategies and capacity plan. These plans are crafted with an end-to-end (E2E) and network-wide perspective, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and sustainable value delivery. What are we looking for? Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Engineering or Business (Advanced degree preferred). Minimum of 2 years as an Operations People Leader Minimum of 3 years Industrial Engineer and/or Project Engineer Minimum of 5 years relevant engineering or manufacturing experience. Proven analytical capability and change management capability Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and pipeline practices Efficiency and Project Management skills Demonstrated Finance acumen What will be your key responsibilities? Drive Capacity Utilization: Optimize production and operational capacity to maximize throughput and resource efficiency, ensuring alignment with business demand and strategic goals. Conduct Deep Loss Analysis: Perform comprehensive and detailed analyses of organizational losses, identifying root causes and systemic issues to inform targeted improvement initiatives. Lead the Focus Improvement Pillar: Champion the Focus Improvement Pillar within the operational excellence framework, guiding teams through structured problem-solving and continuous improvement cycles to eliminate losses and enhance performance. Manage Capital Appropriation Budget (CAB) Projects: Take ownership of documenting, developing, and managing CAB projects, ensuring clear articulation of project scope, objectives, and expected benefits aligned with site masterplans and investment strategies. Oversee CAB Management: Coordinate the end-to-end process of CAB submissions, approvals, and tracking, maintaining rigorous governance and alignment with financial and operational priorities. Facilitate Value Leadership Agenda Workshops: Lead ideation and strategy workshops focused on the Value Leadership Agenda, fostering collaborative innovation to generate actionable ideas that drive efficiency, cost savings, and waste reduction. Collaborate with Network Stakeholders: Engage cross-functional teams and external partners to align site-level initiatives with broader network strategies, ensuring integrated and sustainable value delivery. Perform Cost Breakdown and Analysis: Analyze cost structures related to production and operational activities, identifying key cost drivers and opportunities for cost optimization to support annual savings targets.
