Sr. Facilities Specialist

We are looking for aSenior Facilities Specialistto join our Team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. You'll oversee all aspects of building maintenance and operations, with a strong focus on preventive maintenance programs. The team supports our full Ann Arbor office and reports to theManager, Real Estate and Facilities.We have astrong skill set in building systems, contractor oversight, and workplace safety, andwe'dlove to speak with you if you bringhands-onfacilitiesexperience. About You - Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, relevant work experience 2+ years of relevant facilities or building maintenance experience 2+ years of hands-on HVAC and plumbing experience It would be great if you also have: Experience with carpentry, basic electrical work, andfamiliarity with maintainingoffice furniture systems Experience performing or coordinating building maintenance, inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance Ability to manage contractors, vendors, service providers, and work order systems Experience responding to escalations,off-hourcalls, and troubleshooting building systems independently Ability to read and interpret building/facility documentation and regulations Experience supporting office relocations, MAC (move/add/change) activities, and workspace buildouts What Will You Be Doing in This Role? Collaborate with theManager and leadershipteam toensure full building functionality, safety, and compliance Monitor contractors during maintenance and project work, ensuring quality and timeliness Assist with emergency and safety issuesand respond to escalated employee inquiries and building-related issues to maintain a high-quality workplace experience Perform daily inspections, document findings, and identify areas for improvement Identify, schedule, and coordinate all internal and external maintenance activities Manage vendor relationships,contractor agreements, scope ofworkand purchase orders through internal procurement to pay systemand ensureaccurateinvoicing and cost center coding. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building equipment and systemssuch as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry work Support meeting and event setup, teardown, and operational needs About the Team Our Facilities & Workplace Experience teamis responsible forensuring an exceptional work environment for all employees in the Ann Arbor office. We oversee the full lifecycle of building operations-maintenance, safety, vendor management, space planning, office moves, and employee support.The culture ishands-on, autonomous, andgrowth-oriented-you'llhave the chance to own your work, develop new skills, and influence how the facilityoperates. Hours of Work This is a fulltime, permanent position, primarily working core business hours in the local time zone, with occasional adjustments for building needs oroff-hourcalls.
