Key Responsibilities: Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, promptly reporting any illegal activities. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines rigorously, ensuring a safe environment for all. Manage ordering procedures efficiently with primary and secondary wholesalers. Utilize computerized inventory management systems to control medications and supplies. Maintain professionalism by ensuring that workstations and customer areas are always organized and clean. Prepare specified products with precision, adhering to best practices. Process billing accurately to maximize value for both customers and the company. Manage phone inquiries promptly and efficiently, providing accurate information to callers. Follow guidelines for handling coupons, cash shortages, and inventory loss prevention. Operate cash registers according to company policies, managing various payment types responsibly. Deliver an exceptional customer experience through effective steps in reception and dispensing. Assist the pharmacist with various tasks, excluding those requiring professional judgment. Comply with HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and privacy. Support company health and wellness programs actively. Process orders efficiently, including deliveries from Central Fill. Thrive in a busy and occasionally stressful environment by working collaboratively. Resolve conflicts amicably and professionally. Handle customer information with honesty and transparency. Seek help when needed to address customer and business concerns effectively. Provide assistance to individuals with special needs, minors, and older adults with care. Be capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Qualifications Minimum: High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to manage highly confidential information with discretion. Satisfactory completion of state requirements to fulfill job functions. Desired Qualifications: Previous experience in a comparable role is preferred. Experience as a pharmacy clerk is beneficial. Familiarity with EPRN systems is a plus. Compensation: $16.38 - $19.38 per hour
