Job Summary and Qualifications The Nurse Extern PRN will operate under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and assist nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include: Providing high-quality patient-centered care and assisting in daily living activities. Cooperating with the clinical team to create and implement patient care plans. Collecting and recording pertinent patient information throughout the care cycle. Assisting patients with mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety. Communicating medical information clearly to patients and their families to enhance understanding and compliance. Educating patients and families on health maintenance and self-management upon discharge. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in and maintaining good standing in an accredited nursing program. Completion of at least one year of nursing coursework is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
