Dykema Gossett PLLC, a leading national law firm, is recruiting for a Graphic Designer in our Detroit, MI office. The Graphic Designer is a creative, detail-oriented designer responsible for producing engaging visual content across digital, video, and print platforms. This role supports firmwide marketing, business development, recruiting, and communications initiatives through high-quality design, video production, and digital storytelling. The ideal candidate is a nimble designer with a modern aesthetic who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and is excited to work across a variety of media - including video, animation, social content, presentations, and campaign assets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design and produce high-quality digital and print assets, including marketing collateral, web and social media graphics, presentations, and communications campaigns. Create and edit video content, including filming, editing, basic motion graphics, and post-production for web, social, and internal platforms. Photo retouching and color correction on high-resolution assets. Maintain brand consistency while bringing fresh creative ideas and visual solutions to projects. Support firm initiatives including marketing campaigns, events, recruiting, thought leadership, and internal communications. Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer to execute concepts efficiently and creatively. Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Identify new tools, technologies, and workflows to enhance creative output and speed. Maintain organized creative files and contribute to asset libraries and templates. Stay current on design trends, digital platforms, and emerging creative tools. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred. 2 to 4+ years of professional design experience. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro). Demonstrated experience creating digital graphics and video content. Strong eye for layout, typography, composition, and visual storytelling. Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and organizational skills; works effectively with individuals at all levels. A strong team orientation, collegial demeanor, and a willingness to do what is needed to accomplish tasks and team goals. Good judgment, tact, professionalism and works well under pressure. Strong video editing and production. Strong graphic design and layout skills, including typography and color theory. Visual storytelling. Creative execution. Time management and adaptability. Collaborative, team-oriented professional with a strong client service mindset. Demonstrate good judgment, tact, and flexibility under pressure.
