Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles. Develop and implement robust employee relations strategies, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans for all staff. Ensure strict compliance with all labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies within the manufacturing facility. Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to manufacturing industry standards. Design and deliver targeted training and development programs, focusing on safety, technical skills, and leadership. Partner with operations management to forecast workforce needs and develop succession plans for key manufacturing positions. Recommended QualificationsMinimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations and wage & hour compliance specific to manufacturing. Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, talent acquisition for production roles, and performance management. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills to effectively engage with a diverse manufacturing workforce. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred. Bonus QualificationsExperience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) to support a diverse workforce. Proven track record in managing HR in a unionized environment. Familiarity with manufacturing-specific safety regulations (e.g., OSHA compliance).
