Job Position: Blender 6 FK Operator Location: BOLINGBROOK,IL60490 Pay Rate: $22.62/hr Shift: 3rd Description: Job Title: Blender 6 Forklift Operator Schedule: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Pay Rate: $21.37 per hour + $1.25 shift differential Office Phone: 815-886-2300 (Call or text) Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to support the Blender department in a production environment. This role is responsible for operating material handling equipment to supply raw materials to Blender Operators and assist with inventory management. Associates will work in a fast-paced food production environment while following safety, quality, and GMP guidelines. Responsibilities • Operate forklift equipment to move and transport raw materials throughout the facility. • Supply raw materials to Blender Operators as needed for production. • Verify that all raw materials are properly labeled and approved before use. • Perform inventory checks and track items following FIFO procedures. • Store raw materials in the correct warehouse locations. • Conduct inbound truck and product inspections. • Ensure order accuracy and lot traceability. • Follow GMP, safety, and food quality procedures at all times. • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements • Previous forklift experience required. • Ability to follow FIFO and GMP procedures in a production environment. • Basic math and counting skills required. • Ability to read and write and follow instructions. • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds safely when needed. • Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety guidelines. • Steel-toe shoes and proper PPE required. Responsabilidades • Operar montacargas para mover materia prima dentro del almacen o produccion. • Abastecer materia prima a los operadores de Blender para produccion. • Verificar que la materia prima este etiquetada y aprobada antes de usarse. • Realizar conteos de inventario siguiendo el metodo FIFO. • Colocar materia prima en las ubicaciones correctas del almacen. • Realizar inspecciones de trailers y producto entrante. • Asegurar la exactitud de pedidos y trazabilidad de lotes. • Seguir reglas de seguridad, GMP y calidad de alimentos. • Apoyar en otras tareas que el supervisor indique. Requisitos • Experiencia previa operando montacargas requerida. • Conocimiento de FIFO y GMP es preferido. • Habilidad para hacer matematicas basicas y conteo. • Poder leer y escribir instrucciones basicas. • Poder levantar hasta 80 libras cuando sea necesario. • Poder trabajar en equipo y seguir reglas de seguridad. • Uso de botas con punta de acero y PPE requerido.
