About the Team The Nutanix Professional Services team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of Nutanix implementations. We collaborate closely with clients, engaging during both pre- and post-sales stages to enhance their software-defined data center (SDDC) strategy and architecture. Beyond simply implementing Nutanix products, we work alongside our partners to guarantee customer success in fully realizing their virtualized and software-defined environments. Our consulting functions encompass assessment, design, implementation, integration, automation services, and project management. In this role, you will report to the Manager of Resident Consultants, who fosters a collaborative, innovative, and service excellence-focused environment. Enjoy a flexible remote work setup while maintaining strong virtual connections with your team. Though primarily remote, occasional in-office attendance and travel (up to 30%) may be required to enrich your interactions with clients. Your Role Design and implement scalable AI and NKP infrastructure solutions on Nutanix HCI platforms tailored to customer needs. Advise clients on Kubernetes best practices for optimal workload management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure supports client-focused AI and NKP initiatives as outlined by customer and Nutanix leadership. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including deployment guides and resources for knowledge sharing. Serve as a technical lead on engagements, guiding the integration of GPU acceleration technologies within AI workflows. Engage with clients for troubleshooting and ongoing support of their AI and NKP infrastructures. Achieve measurable improvements in client satisfaction and project outcomes, evidenced by successful deployments and positive feedback. What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2-4+ years of experience in designing and implementing infrastructure for data-intensive workloads; AI workload experience is advantageous. Strong expertise in container orchestration using Kubernetes. Familiarity with resource requirements for AI models, including LLM inference. Experience with GPU acceleration technologies in containerized environments. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a client-centric mindset. Demonstrated client-facing communication, presentation, and collaboration abilities. Robust problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Proven capacity to work independently in a dynamic, customer-facing environment. Active Top Secret Clearance is a strong plus. MUST HAVE experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) or Virtualization platforms. Work Arrangement This position is primarily remote. While there is no specific in-office requirement, you may occasionally need to attend a local office for specific purposes or travel based on business needs. The expected pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between USD $128,000 and USD $192,000 per year. Actual base pay can vary based on factors like market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Total compensation may include other elements like sign-on bonuses, stock units, and various benefits such as medical plans, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off. If hired, you will be considered an 'at-will' employee, and the Company retains the right to modify compensation based on performance, company needs, and market factors.
