Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Refrigeration Technician Level 4 to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential maintenance, repair, and support for refrigeration and HVAC systems. Responsibilities: Independently drive to various store locations daily as assigned. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and conduct audits regularly. Identify and perform necessary repairs on HVAC systems. Navigate and investigate electronic controls interfaces effectively. Assist with maintenance tasks to ensure buildings and equipment are in optimal condition. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner. Perform replacements of compressors, large motors, and related components. Maintain a well-organized inventory of parts and supplies. Safely operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks, and aerial lifts. Keep company service vehicles clean and well-maintained, if assigned one. Communicate effectively with store personnel about equipment usage to reduce repeat calls and overtime. Utilize the company email system for professional communication. Accurately document all repair, labor, and parts usage in a timely manner. Adhere to all departmental and company policies and procedures. Contribute to the development of maintenance Best Practices through feedback. Audit equipment identification lists for registered stores. Assist other skilled trade technicians with repairs as needed. Engage in performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Coach, mentor, and train other technicians to enhance team skills. Meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, lifting up to 70 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, squatting, and working in varying temperatures. Thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment, managing conflict politely and effectively. Maintain integrity concerning customer and business information. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues efficiently. Provide assistance and support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as necessary. Be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals, and schematics. Advanced technical training or relevant technical certifications. Supervisory experience is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Five to seven years of proven experience in refrigeration/HVAC with satisfactory performance. EPA Type 2 Certification is a must. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is required. Ability to use control manufacturers' software is essential. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Demonstrated experience in mentoring and training others. Compensation: $33.20 - $44.80 per hour.
