Key ResponsibilitiesManage and optimize inventory levels to ensure material availability while minimizing holding costs. Develop and implement strategies for material procurement, storage, and distribution. Oversee demand planning and forecasting processes to align material supply with production schedules. Lead supplier relationship management, performance monitoring, and negotiation for raw materials. Ensure accuracy of inventory records and material master data within the ERP/MRP system. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material flow, logistics, and warehousing operations. Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales to support new product introductions and production targets. Recommended Qualifications5+ years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Proven expertise in inventory control, demand planning, forecasting, and production scheduling. Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analysis tools. Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-reduction initiatives. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
