Join our team as a Junior Geotechnical Engineer on our Rail Construction and Administration Management team! In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability and strength of various projects by connecting soils at client sites to the corresponding structures. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in geotechnical engineering analyses, foundation and subsurface designs, and evaluating projects during construction. Collaborating with a diverse engineering team, contributing to geotechnical reports, and helping prepare project schedules. Conducting research and working with drafters to produce design drawings. Traveling to project sites for observation, soil classification, and oversight of geotechnical investigations under direct supervision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to travel to various job sites and work in different terrains and weather conditions. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering is required. Must possess or obtain an engineer intern certificate (EI). Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 30 pounds or more.
