ABOUT THE ROLEThe Product Manager II partners with the business to evaluate the potential impact of new technology by assessing our current solutions and working with our Process Architecture team to understand all aspects of tasks and technology. Through this process, they will collaborate with stakeholders to define crucial solution capabilities – while driving a shared understanding of both the need and the approach. We are looking for a candidate that is interested in collaborating with internal and external partners on initiatives that support a variety of functions across the business. This person will lead one, or many, Product Managers or Product Owners.  The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who is comfortable working both independently and with a team, has the unique ability to ask the right questions and examine information in order to fully understand an operational opportunity, and is able to properly document and articulate compelling narratives to all levels of stakeholder. This position is based in St. Louis working out of both our Lakeside campus in Maryland Heights, MO, and our Corporate Campus in Clayton, MO and is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Enterprise Fleet Management offers a benefits package including paid vacation and choice time days; medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits; dependent spending account, health savings account, life and disability insurance; fertility benefits, Employee Assistance Programs; profit sharing, 401(k) employer match, discounts and more!  Responsibilities Thoroughly understand and advocate for solutions to customers' problems as well as business goals and objectives, representing that point of view on a day-to-day basis   Own defining the problem that is to be solved; develop and communicate business cases, vision and strategy to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company strategies and goals   Collaborate with Product Strategy and Development, Digital Product, and Technology teams to define and prioritize the product road map  Lead one, or many, Product Managers or Product Owners and ensure they are delivering against their assigned responsibilities including product road map management, documentation, communication, support, analysis and more. Monitor and report key performance indicators for the product against industry leading benchmarks  Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies   Manage medium to large complex product or product suite through the entire product life cycle   Lead the implementation of Product Development projects with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful completion within appropriate budget guidelines and project timeline; Work with Implementation and Communications teams to develop product line communications and drive engagement   Analyze and define market and competitive conditions   Stay up-to-date on new technologies to best serve Product Development goals   Develop and curate new ideas and determine which ideas will achieve critical objectives and should be promoted into features; Communicate the status back to stakeholders   Review new and existing product specifications to ensure the scope of the current and future product meets strategic objectives, ensuring commercial viability   Own the selection and prioritization of product enhancements; Ensure requests and appropriate feedback are seamlessly integrated into the product road map and development processes by playing a key role in development efforts including planning, refinement, user acceptance testing, retrospectives, sprints and scrums   Obtain market information by performing primary research with field operations and other business partners as well as reviewing secondary research materials   Identify needs by talking to customers, monitoring feedback from various listening tools and collaborating with cross-function business partners   Confirm completion of product development and determine readiness for market launch, ensuring delivery of well aligned, high value solutions through use of product life cycle and agile development methodologies   Manage the product strategy behind the user experience and business objectives for multiple products used by rental operations   Develop action plans to address technology issues hindering strategy and objectives   Manage the product financials for growth, user adoption and profitability and return on investment (ROI) by providing short and long-term forecasts   QualificationsRequired: Must reside in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area Must have a Bachelor's degree Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Owner/Manager, Product Development Manager, Technical Project Manager, Business Analyst or equivalent Proven ability to craft and deliver impactful presentations tailored to diverse audiences Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements Competency Based:  Analyzing Building Relationships Communication Detailed-Oriented Ethics and Values Forward-Thinking Problem Solving Work from Home (WFH) Requirements: Must have reliable and consistent high-speed internet access provided by a terrestrial cable or fiber provider (no DSL or satellite) High-speed Internet connection with a minimum validated upload speed of 5Mb and download speed of 25Mb is required.
