Senior Loan Underwriter

We are seeking a motivated, self-driven, and detail-oriented Senior Underwriter to join our fast-growing team at General Mortgage Capital Corporation. This position is only open to people with at least 3 years of processing experience or similar relevant industries or fields such as underwriting or financial services. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and analyze loan applications Process and verify loan documents to ensure completeness and accuracy. Maintain and update loan application databases. Perform initial underwriting reviews to identify potential issues. Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Provide excellent customer service to inbound/outbound communications Utilize company-built AI tools to optimize your performance and enhance your speed. Qualifications College graduate with a degree in a related field. STEM and business majors preferred but not required. 3+ years of relevant experience in industries such as financial services, mortgage lending, or real estate. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
