Purpose of Role This position is aimed at a Senior Director of Solution Architecture responsible for overseeing all functional areas of our expanding business pertaining to two Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Instances and our Merchandising Module. The ideal candidate will create enterprise-capable applications and swiftly develop innovative solutions by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of business processes and utilizing all our toolsets to provide effective solutions. This role will also involve the design and implementation of automations through Automation Anywhere and collaborating with our AI team to develop innovative solutions that align with our operational needs. Your Impact Lead enhancements and upgrades in a critical, high-availability environment operating 24/7. Architect the technical landscape of our tools, including designing solutions and overseeing code contributions while ensuring scalable architecture. Deliver quick efficiency wins for end users via Automation Anywhere. Collaborate with architects, functional owners, and IT shared services to design a flexible roadmap that adapts to evolving product creation needs. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by assessing both out-of-the-box functionalities and bespoke coding solutions, engaging software vendors when necessary. Conduct Technical Unit Testing of developed objects/solutions and maintain comprehensive lifecycle documentation, including securing relevant data from SaaS providers. Assist in driving the project roadmap by analyzing system development opportunities through data collection, operational reviews, evaluating alternatives, and preparing time estimates aligned with project guidelines. Partner with project leaders to ensure projects remain on schedule, recommending actions necessary to meet deadlines. Support fellow teammates in their growth and understanding of tools and applications. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience, or 14 years of relevant experience without a degree in PLM or Merchandising solutions, or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in SQL, Automation Anywhere, Python, C#, and/or Java for developing, testing, and debugging applications.
