Industry Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Type Privately Held, Private Equity-backedAbout the Role The Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President of Electric Utilities to drive an enterprise-wide energy strategy. In this pivotal role, you will integrate transmission solutions essential for supporting large-scale data center expansions throughout the Americas. You will oversee a burgeoning team, collaborate with various internal departments, and engage with external organizations, including utilities, RTO/ISOs, and regulators, to navigate transmission challenges and secure infrastructure critical for hyperscale growth. Key responsibilities include managing departmental budgets, guiding consultants, and producing regular risk and opportunity assessments for senior executives and the Board to inform capital planning decisions. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in Power Systems, with an advanced degree or MBA considered beneficial. We seek individuals with a minimum of 15 years in electrical power transmission or energy, a solid leadership background, and experience managing multi-regional portfolios. Possessing a thorough understanding of power flow modeling, interconnection processes, and a proven history of collaboration with external stakeholders on transmission challenges is essential. You will be expected to demonstrate executive-level financial and strategic insight, exhibit excellent leadership capabilities, and effectively communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences. As the VP, you will champion innovative transmission solutions and influence external procedures to support the company's project pipeline.
