Number of Beds: 12 OR suites in total, with 2 heart/vascular rooms. Patient Ratios: 1:1 Unit Staffing Description: The unit is staffed with RNs, Technicians, and Orderlies. Type of Equipment: Standard OR equipment is utilized. Documentation System: Meditech is the documentation system used. Scheduling Requirements: Shifts are typically 5 hours but may be open to 10-hour shifts. On-call Requirements: Staff may be required to be on call during weekdays and weekends. Floating Policy: Staff may float to the Main OR if there are no vascular or heart cases. Patient Experience Requirements: A professional and polite demeanor is required. Requested Skill Set: Applicants must be experienced in scrubbing for heart and vascular procedures. Advanced Skills: Scrubbing for endovascular cases is a plus, but not required. Procedures Performed: The unit performs open heart, lung, and vascular surgeries. Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs must be worn.
