We're looking for enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals for this entry-level trainee role who are: Strong communicators Empathetic team members Skilled at multitasking Accountable in their work Logical and structured thinkers Ambitious in their career goals Quick learners with adaptability Effective collaborators ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Complete all aspects of the designated claims professional training program. Assist in adjusting various levels of workers' compensation claims under close supervision, including: Processing and responding to incoming mail, emails, and other claim-related documents. Communicating effectively with injured workers, employers, medical providers, attorneys, and insurance representatives through various channels. Conduct thorough investigations of claims by collecting pertinent information such as medical records and employer reports. Determine coverage, compensability, and appropriate benefits in accordance with jurisdictional guidelines. Document claims files and write detailed reports of findings and recommendations. Administer claim benefits and ensure compliance with state regulations. Attend virtual or in-person meetings, claim discussions, and training sessions as required.
