Student Wellness Counselor

Join our dedicated educational team as a Student Wellness Counselor and play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for our students. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by: Providing expert advice and counseling on academic, educational, and social-emotional challenges faced by students. Establishing strong, trusting relationships with students to ensure they feel acknowledged and supported throughout their educational journey. Delivering personalized student planning and responsive services to assist students and families with their academic needs. Leading guidance classes and small group sessions to share important educational and social information, as well as hosting valuable workshops for parents. Collaborating with parents, teachers, and administrators to address students' specific academic and educational needs. Assessing individual student situations and recommending practical solutions tailored to their unique goals and strengths. Participating in a Student Success Team to identify students who need additional support, and coordinating services with behavioral health specialists. Guiding students and parents in navigating school policies and procedures effectively. Offering brief counseling sessions to address social and emotional concerns while providing referrals to specialist services when necessary. Working alongside behavioral health specialists to develop and implement effective student support systems. Engaging actively with students by participating in various school activities and events.
