As a Manager of Health Engagement and Revenue Cycle, you will play a crucial role in leading enterprise-scale revenue cycle transformations within complex healthcare organizations, such as academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, and large medical groups. You will influence key business transformation projects, enhancing the revenue cycle process from patient access to back-end operations. Your Responsibilities: Lead comprehensive Revenue Cycle solutions for large healthcare providers, focusing on enhancing net revenue and accelerating cash flow. Identify and prioritize opportunities for client value creation through research and a deep understanding of their needs and performance gaps. Drive operational improvements by refining processes, policies, and key performance metrics. Oversee the implementation of business solutions, defining business architecture and process design while developing performance measurements. Create and manage implementation plans to meet project deliverables within established timelines and budgets, adjusting as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Utilize advanced analytics and automation in the Revenue Cycle, including intelligent work queues and data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI. Facilitate modernization efforts for clients' revenue cycle and financial functions. Lead or assist in the development of managed services, including service level agreements and performance governance. Support technology collaborations with IT and vendors such as Epic and Cerner. Craft effective communication strategies to guide stakeholders through transformative changes. Manage project risks, economics, and deliverable content to ensure client satisfaction. Client Engagement: Build and manage relationships with key client stakeholders, guiding them through all phases of the project. Promote follow-on opportunities and develop compelling proposals for new business initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. Practice Development: Engage in building the practice through conferences, thought leadership, and recruiting efforts. Contribute to specialized expertise to enhance firm recognition. Mentor and coach team members to facilitate their professional growth. Encourage innovative ideas and support team members in pursuing their career aspirations. Keep updated on industry regulations, trends, and technologies affecting the revenue cycle across various healthcare sectors. Be prepared to travel up to 80% as required. Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in finance and management consulting. A minimum of 5 years in a healthcare provider revenue cycle environment. At least 2 years of experience in transforming revenue cycle processes to maximize revenue. Bachelor's degree required. Bonus Skills: Strong engagement expertise in business and talent development. Robust financial acumen for budgeting and forecasting. Previous consulting experience is advantageous. Familiarity with AI, RPA, and data analytics in the revenue cycle. Experience in managed services governance. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire project teams. Excellent communication skills for high-impact presentations and discussions. An advanced degree such as an MBA or MHA is preferred.
