Transportation Engineering Intern - Summer 2026

Join Jacobs as a Transportation Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 and gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of Civil Engineering. This internship is designed for engineering students eager to work alongside industry leaders in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to engage in vital Transportation Engineering tasks, with a concentration in Highway and/or Water Resources Engineering. Responsibilities will include: Conducting calculations and evaluations to design effective solutions and systems for public infrastructure projects. Creating detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules for construction phases. Utilizing computer-aided engineering software and equipment to execute engineering tasks and prepare data for analysis. Contributing to plan development throughout various project stages. Assisting in project coordination from initial feasibility assessments to final plan completions. Providing essential support to engineering team members as needed. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with MicroStation (preferred software) or AutoCAD is advantageous.
