Senior Analytical Chemist - Night Shift

Position Overview The Senior Analytical Chemist plays a crucial role in operating and maintaining a range of analytical instruments and will undertake various additional responsibilities as assigned by our client. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and real-time analyses using techniques such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (GC), ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, titrations, and Karl Fischer (KF) testing. Extend proficiency in HPLC and GC with a strong focus on method development, optimization, validation, data analysis, and sample preparation. Utilize modern analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, KF, and UV-Vis spectroscopy in daily operations. Adhere to cGMP standards, ensuring compliance with GMP analytical activities, documentation procedures, and departmental SOPs; responsible for generating and reviewing GMP data. Employ automated liquid handling systems (Tecan) for high throughput testing whenever applicable. Utilize software platforms, such as Waters Empower and RLIMS, for efficient data compilation, processing, and reporting. Qualifications BA/BS degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience in a chemistry-related laboratory. MS degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience in a chemistry-related laboratory. Desired Skills and Experience Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, complemented by excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Able to thrive under pressure while delivering reliable and timely results. Consistently produce high-quality and compliant results, engaging effectively with a diverse customer base. Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
