About the Role: As a Lead Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will spearhead a team of service technicians responsible for the installation and repair of advanced automated packaging and distribution systems. You will address complex challenges, devise innovative solutions, and oversee key projects. Additionally, mentoring and training service and contract technicians will be an essential part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance and operation of material handling and facility equipment, including Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems. Lead a team of technicians, providing training and supervision while coordinating planned and emergency repair work with vendors. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot components such as relay logic, ladder diagrams, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids. Document maintenance activities by creating and closing work orders, tracking labor hours, equipment performance, and parts used, while developing emergency repair plans for critical assets. Meet physical requirements including lifting up to 49lbs, standing or walking for shifts of up to 12 hours, climbing ladders safely, and performing various physical tasks as needed. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays. 4+ years of experience in predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. 4+ years of experience in repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical systems. 4+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. 4+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles. 4+ years of experience adhering to safety standards. 4+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics experience with MHE. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree in Mechatronics or a related field. Experience in team leadership, particularly in mentoring engineering staff. Familiarity with MHE safety standards per OEM guidelines. 2+ years of experience in programmable logic controls (PLC) programming. 2+ years of experience with robotics system components and controls. Your overall compensation package may include sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs), with final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and location.
