Join our dynamic team as a Float Pharmacist and play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional customer experience. As a key player, you'll monitor all pharmacy activities and embody our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately fulfill customer prescription needs and ensure the precision of every prescription filled. Administer vaccines as needed. Provide thorough patient counseling and pharmaceutical care. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including HIPAA regulations. Maintain a professional image through your appearance, conduct, and the cleanliness of the pharmacy. Develop a deep understanding of the local trade area, including customer needs and competition. Cultivate a positive pharmacy image by fostering strong service and cooperation with customers and associates. Monitor inventory, replenish stock, maintain records, follow policies, and manage all pharmacy operations. Maintain meticulous records and ensure the security of all scheduled drugs, including controlled substances. Handle pharmacy products according to proper procedures and policies. Utilize accuracy tools for ensuring precise dispensing practices. Establish and maintain accurate record-keeping practices for compliance with legal and company policies. Keep your workspace organized and present a sanitary image to customers. Process product returns in a timely manner following company guidelines. Ensure all pharmacy equipment is well-maintained and operational. Organize all policy manuals, reference materials, and ensure all staff are familiar with their usage. Display necessary signage to inform customers of services and operational guidelines. Continuously seek to broaden your pharmaceutical knowledge and skills. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing stress and conflict with professionalism. Act with integrity concerning customer and business information. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to address customer issues. Provide support through direct interaction with diverse populations, including minors and individuals with special needs. Must be able to perform all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy. Current state pharmacist license in good standing. Strong oral and written communication skills. Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction. Ability to manage stressful situations effectively. Desired 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
