Platform Operator / AMS resource

Job Summary The AEM Assets as a Cloud Service Platform Operator is responsible for ensuring the operational excellence, reliability, and governance of the enterprise AEM Assets Cloud platform. The role focuses on maintaining a performant, secure, and scalable platform aligned with organizational compliance and content-operations requirements. This position provides proactive monitoring, incident response, workflow optimization, and user support across Adobe@Adobe environments while working closely with partner teams. Key Responsibilities Oversee technical management and daily operations of the AEM Assets Cloud platform. Monitor system performance including compute services, orchestration, replication, CDN usage, and storage. Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate fixes with engineering and support teams to maintain uptime and availability. Manage platform configuration, user access, and environment health across author, preview, and publish tiers using AEM Cloud Manager CI/CD. Enforce governance policies including asset lifecycle management, metadata standards, and compliance requirements. Maintain role-based access controls and user entitlements through Adobe IMS. Support audit needs through logs, monitoring, reporting, and platform usage reviews. Continuously monitor system health, asset processing pipelines, workflows, and integrations. Respond to incidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures. Collaborate with cloud service providers and internal SRE/DevOps teams on escalations. Support and optimize AEM workflows for creative production, approvals, and delivery. Develop automations and light orchestration to improve cloud operational efficiency. Monitor and enhance Assets Compute services including rendition generation and Sensei-powered metadata extraction. Maintain integrations with Adobe Creative Cloud, Workfront, marketing systems, Workfront Fusion, and external platforms. Ensure stability of API-driven and Cloud Manager CI/CD interactions. Partner with teams when new integrations or enhancements are required. Provide user support for access, troubleshooting, and workflow guidance. Assist content authors, librarians, activation leads, and creative teams with platform operations. Support onboarding, training, documentation, and communication around platform best practices. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with AEM Assets as a Cloud Service, AEM Cloud Manager, and Adobe Admin Console. Understanding of cloud-native architecture, autoscaling, and distributed systems. Familiarity with DAM best practices including metadata, taxonomy, workflows, and governance. Ability to interpret logs, troubleshoot errors, and analyze performance metrics. Knowledge of Adobe Sensei automation and asset processing pipelines. Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments. Excellent documentation, organization, and stakeholder management capabilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise digital asset management operations. Experience working with creative, marketing, or content-production workflows. Exposure to SRE or DevOps practices including monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD for cloud services.
