Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: Work in ED Holds unit on 2 East floor with 22 beds and 30 staff members Maximum patient ratio of 6:1 with ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time Must have 1 years acute med/surg/tele experience within the last year Preferred: 2 years experience working Telemetry PCI, CABG POD 2 Standard nursing skills required: IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration, EKG interpretation Additional skills: Continuous Bladder Irrigation, NGT insertion/maintenance, documentation in EHR Work with Meditech EMR system and standard telemetry equipment Provide care for med/surg/telemetry patients Communication with all members of care team required Float to med/surg/tele units as needed Royal Blue scrubs required Weekend coverage as needed on unit with no on-call responsibilities Must maintain friendly, positive, patient-centered, team-focused personality RN license required Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive telemetry unit specializing in cardiac and medical-surgical care.
