Position Summary At SIH, we believe excellent community care starts with appreciating our team. We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift RRT to provide high-level respiratory care as part of our multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for evaluating patient outcomes, implementing physician-ordered treatments, and acting as a clinical role model for staff and students alike. ? Key Responsibilities ? Care Planning: Systematically plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory interventions. ? Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate effectively with medical and nursing staff to adjust care plans based on patient outcomes. ?‍? Patient Education: Provide clear instructions to patients and families regarding respiratory disease processes and discharge procedures. ?️ Clinical Leadership: Share clinical knowledge with the team and serve as a mentor for students within the unit. ? Flexibility: Accept reassignment to other units within the system when necessary to ensure optimal patient coverage. ? Requirements Education & Experience ? Education: Associate"s degree in Respiratory Therapy required. ? Experience: Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred. Certifications & Licensure ? Licensure: Active Illinois State Respiratory Therapist License. ? NBRC: Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). ❤️ Life Support: Current AHA BLS and NRP-MHC required. ?
