No Labor Category Accounting / Finance Date 10-Mar-2026 City Thomaston State Connecticut Country United States Ref # 9247851752 Description & RequirementsDescriptionPlant ControllerLocation: Thomaston, CT - Onsite Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 base + 10-20% bonus Employment Type: Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire a Plant Controller supporting a multi-site operation in Thomaston, Watertown, and Waterbury, CT. This role is a key financial leader responsible for driving financial visibility, strengthening cost discipline, and partnering closely with plant leadership to improve operational performance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing finance professional to influence strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across multiple facilities. Key Responsibilities Lead plant-level accounting, financial reporting, and cost controls across multiple manufacturing sites Serve as a strategic financial advisor to plant leadership Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Provide financial insights on production KPIs, labor efficiency, scrap, and throughput Support product costing, margin analysis, and pricing decisions Strengthen internal controls, inventory accuracy, and working capital management Partner with operations to identify cost reduction and performance improvement opportunities Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and ROI Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred) 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, including manufacturing experience Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), Excel, and reporting tools As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
