Summary: Meta is on the lookout for a knowledgeable Lead Integration Specialist for Connectivity to join our Data Center Design, Engineering, & Construction (DEC) Operations Team. Our Infrastructure team builds, operates, leases, and retrofits Meta's data centers, forming the backbone of our Apps. The DEC organization drives construction execution for our Data Center fleet, managing everything from new builds to fiber installations, ensuring seamless accessibility to information on Meta's servers. The Lead Integration Specialist for Connectivity reports to the Connectivity Integration Manager and serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for DEC Connectivity, supporting multiple data centers within our diverse portfolio. This essential role ensures standardized builds, identifies and mitigates risks, shares lessons learned, and provides training to both internal and external resources. You will act as a mentor, offering expertise in DEC telecommunication design, standards, products, and vendor management. Key Responsibilities: Assist site teams with planning, procurement, and execution of connectivity scopes, from installation to Server Ready dates and transition to operational partners. Communicate effectively and promptly with the broader organization about any impacts on capacity delivery, elevating issues as necessary for leadership awareness. Drive integration of new and existing Connectivity Systems across the program portfolio. Significantly contribute to preconstruction planning for new builds and retrofit projects. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, such as Engineering and Network Hardware teams, to ensure cohesive program execution. Provide timely feedback on project deliverables, including design documents and system requirements. Guide project teams during connectivity scope execution, ensuring quality reviews and best practices. Monitor performance of Telecom Contractors and assess General Contractor performance for connectivity tasks. Assist site teams with changes like system requirements or requested modifications. Review and approve contracts and change orders, advising on those beyond signing authority. Coordinate efforts with other Connectivity Integration Leads to ensure consistency and share best practices. Ensure timely resolution of issues across various sites. Lead the onboarding of Connectivity Engineers and assist with recruitment decisions. Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize processes and strategies. Request and provide feedback for continuous improvement of projects and partnerships. Adapt quickly to support a rapidly growing business model and prioritize effectively. Minimum Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in structured cabling and vendor management in hyperscale data centers or related fields. Proven success in delivering quality structured cabling installations in data centers. Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills to address complex problems under pressure. Experience driving strategic initiatives across global portfolios. Experience in training and mentoring others on relevant technologies and processes. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in data center engineering, design, commissioning, and new site development is highly desirable. Advanced degree in engineering or business administration. Compensation: $178,000/year to $245,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
