Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Part-Time)

Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department Key Details: Level 2 Part-Time Days/Nights rotation $55-$60/hr, depending on experience The Level 2 Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department is essential in delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a dynamic acute care environment. This part-time position involves both day and night shifts and demands strong clinical judgment, adept management of high-acuity cases, and effective teamwork with the multidisciplinary emergency care team. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care for patients with diverse emergency conditions. Conduct rapid assessments and triage; monitor patients continuously. Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and perform emergency procedures as prescribed. Identify and react swiftly to alterations in patient conditions. Participate in trauma responses and assist in emergency medical situations. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge procedures. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Follow safety, quality, and infection control protocols of the hospital. Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the support team. Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Level 2 RN experience with proven competency in the Emergency Department. Preferably prior Emergency Department experience. BLS certification required. Strong critical-thinking, multitasking abilities, and excellent communication skills. Schedule & Work Requirements: Part-Time: 2 x 12-hour shifts per week. Days/Nights rotation.
