This leadership position is not just about supporting the sales process; it's about being the technical face of the company in the market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the technical win strategy, shaping the external positioning of the company, and contributing to the roadmap and go-to-market motion. Key responsibilities include leading technical strategy in sales cycles, conducting executive briefings, and developing competitive playbooks. The role demands a deep understanding of security and vulnerability management, the ability to influence market and competitive positioning, and a strong background in product and go-to-market influence. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years' experience in solution engineering, technical sales, or sales engineering within the cybersecurity domain, with a focus on cloud security. They must be cloud fluent and possess a comprehensive understanding of how SecOps teams operate. The role requires a demo wizard and storyteller who can run tailored live demos and is a clear communicator with a builder mindset. Nice-to-have skills include experience in tech sales enablement and a strong network in the ecosystem. The Head of Solutions Engineering will be expected to be a standalone function, capable of juggling deals, building demo and POC motions, and laying the groundwork for team expansion in the future.
