Lead Front End Engineer - Principal Technical Role

Your primary responsibilities will include designing high-quality, accessible user interfaces and resilient microservices, while leveraging modern development practices within a fast-paced Agile environment. Core Responsibilities Lead the design and development of large-scale Single Page Applications (SPAs), focusing on efficient state management and modular architecture. Create user interfaces that are not only responsive but also accessible, meeting WCAG standards and championing inclusive design. Integrate sophisticated REST/GraphQL backends, optimizing data fetching and implementing effective caching strategies. Establish robust testing practices, including unit and end-to-end tests, alongside CI/CD workflows to ensure code quality and performance. Collaborate closely with UX designers to bring prototypes to life and deliver production-ready interfaces. Contribute to the development of design systems, component libraries, and comprehensive documentation. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5-10 years experience in building scalable and complex front-end solutions. Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, along with React and Redux (or similar frameworks). Strong skills in HTML5/CSS3 (Sass/Less), responsive design practices, and cross-browser compatibility. Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha/Chai, and React Testing Library, along with end-to-end testing tools like Puppeteer, Cypress, or Selenium. Familiarity with build tools and package managers (Webpack, npm/yarn) and a solid grasp of Git for version control. Proficient in performance optimization techniques, including bundle splitting, code-splitting, and lazy loading principles. Experience with containerization using Docker/Kubernetes and an understanding of CI/CD processes. Preferred/Bonus Qualifications Experience with accessibility testing tools and design applications like Figma, Sketch, or InVision. Familiarity with Node.js, Express, or Java for backend integration and full-stack responsibilities. Knowledge of feature flags, A/B testing, and analytics tools. Why Oracle Health?
