What You'll Do As a Department Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful operations of your department. Your responsibilities will include: Adhering to store merchandising standards to maintain consistent and appealing department displays. Monitoring inventory levels through regular counts and reconciling discrepancies. Ensuring a neat and organized department to enhance the customer shopping experience. Coordinating price changes accurately and efficiently. Implementing planogram sets to maximize sales potential. Maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols in the department. Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with inquiries. Supporting front-end operations by processing transactions as needed. Using various office and retail equipment effectively. Participating in cross-training and continuous learning initiatives. Demonstrating Rural King's core values in all interactions. Performing other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None Essential Qualities for Success The ideal candidate will possess: A minimum of 2 years of relevant retail experience. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to listen actively and respond thoughtfully to customer needs. Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs. Problem-solving skills to efficiently address issues as they arise. Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks. Comfort with navigating computer systems and software. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Stand or sit for extended periods. Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Use ladders or pallet jacks safely. Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
