Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Nursing Staff Development Coordinator who is passionate about training and educating our stakeholders to deliver the best possible care to residents. How You Will Make a Difference: Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education as required by regulations and employee health monitoring for nursing department employees. Regularly assess the competency of C.N.A. skill performance, ensuring positive regard for residents and identifying the developmental needs of direct care staff. Provide one-on-one instruction as needed and skill training for new staff in any deficient area before allowing nursing assistants to perform tasks with residents. What You Need to Make a Difference: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with long-term care preferred. Current/active CPR certification. Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines for long-term care.
