Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive material planning and inventory control strategies. Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics to ensure timely material availability. Utilize and optimize ERP/MRP systems for accurate material forecasting and planning. Manage supplier relationships to ensure material quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery performance. Lead, mentor, and develop the materials management team. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material flow and reduce waste. Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment Proven expertise in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) Strong understanding of inventory management principles, forecasting, and production planning Demonstrated ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills Bonus QualificationsAPICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Experience with international sourcing and global logistics. Advanced proficiency in a major ERP system (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle).
