Description As a key player in the sales team at Vilter by Copeland, the Account Executive - Renewable Energy Solutions Specialist will champion the promotion of our industry-leading industrial compression solutions essential for the energy transition. This role, centered around Vilter's distinctive single-screw technology known for its reliability, emphasizes the cultivation of relationships within the biogas sector, striving to attain Trusted Advisor status with clients while advocating for Vilter’s industrial gas compressor products. Key Responsibilities: Conduct activities ethically, following all organizational policies and legal guidelines. Drive business growth by developing new opportunities within the Vilter gas compression product line in your assigned customer base. Focus on strengthening existing account relationships and expanding reach within North America's biogas sector, including wastewater treatment, dairy, and food waste digesters. Establish new customer partnerships through proactive prospecting and engagement efforts. Enhance the preference for Vilter equipment by building connections with end-users, developers, biogas upgraders, system integrators, and contractors. Manage the sales process from discovery to purchase order closure, providing outstanding aftersales support as necessary. Showcase Vilter's value proposition and technical benefits at stakeholder meetings, industry tradeshows, and association engagements. Achieve Trusted Advisor status with key clients to establish Vilter as a trusted value provider. Build relationships with decision-makers to facilitate effective customer decision-making. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, project insights, and competitor information utilizing Salesforce CRM. Gather and relay customer insights on market trends, product requirements, and competitive landscape to support company strategy. Identify and qualify new projects to share with leadership, helping the organization capture new business opportunities. Support Vilter's commercial processes, including the creation and submission of sales proposals and negotiation of customer agreements. Act as a steadfast advocate for Vilter with customers while ensuring customer needs are effectively represented at Vilter. Required Education, Experience & Skills: Demonstrated sales success in industrial equipment, biogas, oil & gas, or related sectors. Ability to communicate technical and commercial concepts effectively at all organizational levels. Strong analytical abilities and a results-driven mentality. Essential knowledge in contract negotiations. Willingness to travel frequently, potentially up to 100 nights per year. Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Education, Experience & Skills: Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Mechanical Engineering. Established relationships with clients in the biogas industry, particularly with digester developers and upgraders. Experience and mechanical understanding of rotating equipment such as industrial compressors. Familiarity with biogas upgrading processes and digesters is a plus. Remote Work Arrangement: This position offers a fully remote work option, with occasional travel to a Copeland location for team collaboration or customer interactions. According to Colorado EPEWA guidelines, the total cash compensation for this role ranges from $140,000 to $190,000 annually, including base salary and potential quarterly bonuses.
