Position Details: Full-Time (non-remote) position (36 hours per week) - benefit eligible Night Shift: 6:30pm - 7am on 3-12 hour shifts Weekend & Holiday Rotation: weekend rotation is every 3 rd weekend /The holiday rotation includes one to two holidays per year Core Lab Position (Blood Bank, Chemistry, UA, Hematology/Coagulation, Processing, Microbiology setups and send outs) Generalist Role Cerner Millenium (LIS), Epic, Instrument Manager, Sysmex WAM (hematology middleware), Cellavision (hematology application), Biorad Unity (Chemistry QC), and Wellsky (Blood Bank System). Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs specimen processing and routine testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges. Demonstrates good laboratory practices. Responsibilities Performs quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctioning instrumentation as necessary. Operates all instrumentation in assigned areas to deliver precise, timely, and accurate laboratory results. Reports results through the laboratory computer system accurately, meeting published turn around times for routine testing and stats.
