Legal Secretary Litigation

Mission Recruiting is partnering with a respected Long Beach defense firm seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary with at least 3+ years of civil litigation secretary experience and strong knowledge of California court rules and e-filing procedures. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys being the organizational backbone of a busy litigation practice and thrives in a professional, team-oriented environment. You'll provide full litigation support-calendaring, document preparation, e-filing, and case management-supporting attorneys who value reliability, communication, and initiative. Experience with Clio case management software is a plus Key Highlights Manage complex litigation calendars, including hearings, depositions, deadlines, and attorney/client meetings Draft, proofread, and e-file pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence in California state courts Coordinate depositions, court reporters, interpreters, and communications with clients and opposing counsel Maintain organized electronic and physical files; assist with hearing, mediation, and trial preparation Bring excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and a professional, service-minded attitude Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $70,000 - $80,000+ DOE Kaiser medical after 90 days, plus HSA stipend; dental and vision options 9 paid holidays + 5 sick days, FMLA 401(k) with profit sharing after 1 year, plus paid parking Interested candidates are encouraged to apply for a confidential conversation with Mission Recruiting.
