Job DescriptionPart Time On-Call Licensed Speech Pathologist Join VieMed Healthcare Staffing as a Part Time On-Call Licensed Speech Pathologist and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients while enjoying a flexible, rewarding role. This position offers the opportunity to provide critical speech and language services in the San Francisco/Sacramento area, supporting patients during times of need and contributing to their overall well-being. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will deliver expert assessments, develop treatment strategies, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Skills: Master's degree in speech pathology or communication disorders Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a speech pathologist Certification of Clinical Competency in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA Minimum of 12 months of hands-on clinical experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings within the past 24 months Proficiency in conducting speech and swallowing evaluations and implementing treatment plans Ability to respond to on-call calls within 24 hours during business hours Nice to Have Skills: Experience with instrumentation such as videofluoroscopy, nasendoscopy, or stroboscopy Additional certifications beyond Basic Life Support Familiarity with evidence-based clinical procedures and protocols Preferred Education and Experience: Graduate from an accredited college or university with at least 18 semester hours in speech pathology Prior experience working in clinical settings with diverse patient populations Other Requirements: Willingness to be on call approximately 60 days per year during business hours (Monday-Friday) Ability to respond promptly to call-outs and provide treatment as needed Commitment to maintaining current licensure and certifications Travel is not required for this role This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a flexible, part-time capacity with competitive compensation at $70 per hour for each hour called out for treatment.
