Summary of Job Description: The Facilities Operations Manager (FM) plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and repair of multiple retail locations, ensuring that each facility meets high operational standards. This position involves training store managers on effective facility maintenance practices, as well as sourcing and negotiating with local and regional vendors for essential services. The FM will monitor vendor performance to guarantee timely and cost-effective work quality. Job Responsibilities: Strategically plan and oversee repair and maintenance for 60-100 retail stores, ensuring compliance with company facility standards. Identify, evaluate, and contract with vendors for preventative maintenance and repair services for designated stores. Implement repair and preventive maintenance programs that empower store managers to resolve routine and urgent situations effectively. Provide comprehensive training to store managers on maintenance programs and effective vendor collaboration to maintain quality and control costs. Assist the Risk Management department by responding to emergencies, conducting inspections, and facilitating resolutions. Utilize Service Channel tools and reports to manage vendor performance and control maintenance and repair expenses. Must reside in the following areas: Kansas City Tulsa Northwest Arkansas Work Environment: This position requires 40-50% travel, including some overnight trips. Your background & experience: Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum of five years in facilities maintenance, with one to two years in management, ideally within retail or hospitality. Progressing towards CRFP certification or equivalent qualification. Completion of required initial and ongoing training. Must obtain a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of hiring. Current driver's license and ability to drive to locations as needed for work.
